You could be lazy and poor like me and just melt down old worms in the microwave, and pour them into a mold. It's easy, and you can get any color you want haha. Plus if a bass does end up taking it off, you can make another one quick. I've got about 5 spares right now, and haven't had to use a single one. I've also used lexan, but I like the secondary action of the tail flexing some.

 

Doesn't this make the tail too flimsy? Is there something you could add to the melted plastic while it's hot to make it stiffen up when it cools?
