S-Waver 200 Durability

Just called R2S and spoke with Nate, super cool dude. He said the whole team is actually in China with the manufacture to correct the problems with the 200. He said their first batch wasn't as durable and he assured the new batch shouldn't have the problem. He said he will send me a new one. Didn't expect that but I will take it.

 

For sure, I will change out the hooks and add an extra split rings.

Something is different about the 200 in my opinion. The 168 is way better. I can catch plenty of fish on the 168 but nothing on the 200. Maybe making the 200 was just rushed

Stripers tend to destroy baits, all baits. Wish more Co. Would incorporate swivels inside

Adding a second split ring to each hook gives it more freedom of movement allowing the hook to twist rather than break on a big fish.

I bounced mine off some concrete in less than 30 minutes after getting it. Cracked open at the seams 2 casts later (actually in the water this time). My fault no biggie, glued it back together and repainted for kicks. Not sure it'll catch fish but it looks cool.b

My brother just bought one. His first Swimbait and has thrown it a few times with no problems at all. Has hit rocks. Docks. Etc. seems to handle.

Typical POS R2S bait along the lines of the Wooden Slither, Bossy Mark and the exploding Whopper Plopper. I had a Perch SW 200 and the paint literally fell off the side of it within 3 casts. I snipped the line and let it sink.
