bassbass
I would start with a 6" in black or green back and golden shinner ROF
ILIKEBIGBAITS
Tryouts won't work huh.
ThePhonse
Trout patterns are roughly 60% of what I throw. And there isn't a single trout in the Piedmont region of NC. It's all about confidence.
Neo
Weedless 68, trout, 12 RoF. Everyone is going to have their own personal preference, that is mine. Throwing the smaller bait might help build some confidence.
raybass
I live in the Houston area, my first bite and fish was on a weedless 68 in trout. Throw a live trout in any southern reservoir and it'll get ate quick.
ETBA
I live in roughly the same area as you. I have had good luck with the black and green shad. I prefer those patterns, but have trout hudds too. As for size, I'd get a 68 over the regular 6". I never really had as much luck on the 6" as the 68. Garrettlikesbass
I' m just getting into spinnerbaits. There are no chartruse fish in my area so no chartruse. This is 100% true. Color doesnt matter. If i was you i would go with perch, green back shad, or trout. Rof 5, and a 68 tail. If i was you i would buy 2 though, a weedless and a top hook. If money is no issue, just to kind get a feel of what you like best. Just my opinion.
