Azurbanswimbait Posted February 6, 2015 Report Share Posted February 6, 2015 Went on a 3 day birthday trip to El Salto lake, Mexico and stayed at Billy Chapman Seniors place. Great lodge, Great Lake, and amazing fishing....for soft plastics. Out of the 2 and a half days I fished, I was using a flash carp 250 and a River2sea Swaver. Got a ton of action on the S-waver, but it wasn't until the last day I had luck on both baits. I was using a LDC XH production with a Daiwa Lexa 300hs. I was slow Rollin the 250 when this chunk 8 came up and crushed it. Everyone caught a 6 and above. Overall it was a Great Lake to fish, just not for swimbaits.
