nickh87
Anyone have a review of the huddleston deluxe rod? I am interested in picking up a new rod and didn't see anything besides the star rating on the huddleston website BassMaster_J
BassMaster_J
Great Rod to throw 6" and 8" hudds probably an over kill for Hudd gill..Super light, simple and it has that classy look..I'm selling mine excellent condition with the receipt lifetime warranty if you're interested. How does it handle the bigger baits? I'm looking to throw Deps 175/250 and a bulldoze on it also
BassMaster_J
I've never tried throwing a 250 on it.. It should be able to handle it
blckshirt98
I'm fairly new to swimbait fishing but hope to really throw them this upcoming season and looking for a rod. How would this Hudd rod compare to an LDC production H?
SD032
I've had my Hudd rod for a little more than 6 months and am very pleased. Out of the package, it feels a little tip heavy. However, after adding xwrap, a butt cap, as well as a 300 size reel, it's evened the balance. The heaviest bait I've thrown on it is an 11" Nates trout which is in the realm of 7oz. The spiral wrap (right) is something that new to me and I can tell on my model that the first eyelet on the top is definitely scewed to the left just a bit. "Made in China" may have something to do with that, though I can't be certain. I might add that I took it out on a tuna trip this year and was able to land a handful 3-5lb So Cal tuna.
