CheeseWeasel
That lake has some absolute PIG spots in it. Lived near there when I was in middle school. My buddys mom worked at one of the marina / grills out there so we always got rental boats and a lift to the lake. Never got one THAT big. Kind of a shame for an awesome fish like that to end up in the frying pan.

flyforfish21
It probably happens more than you think unfortunately. That guy just likes to show off his dinner Think about all the dudes you don't see throwing live bait and everything else. Sucks, but it's life, and the Bass will live on. Thai
How are you so sure it was dinner? Did a quick google search and it seems he fishes TX's and saw on another report of a 7.7 spot he caught and released....that fish in the picture was caught on 10lb p-line and a dd22...It seems that if you're fishing tx's and are good enough to catch big fish like that regularly you would develop respect for the fish like many of us do and not need to sustenance fish.. Here is his flw profile, if his goal is to catch the WR spot it wouldnt make sense to start eating the big girls now would it http://www.flwoutdoors.com/community/pr ... uid=132924
