JTSwimbaitMan
Hey guys I'm taking a trip to the colorado springs area. Anything there I could catch on swimbaits?
marc626
I think there are a few on here that live in that state. Just read reports and lure reviews.
gettin bit
11 mile and Spinney reservoirs. they are next to each other and hold pike and would be your best bet for throwing swimbaits. Yes there are bass to be caught in colorado but not worth it in my opinion if you are coming from Texas.
wtrwsel
Left Colorado Springs in 04, but Pueblo reservoir to the south was a really good lake for bass. I was not throwing swimbaits a whole lot back then; but it has lots of smallmouth and largemouth. There are a few ponds on the north side of the lake that are full of bass. Lots of Wipers and Walleye in the lake too. A couple baits I would suggest based off of old reports would be the Rising Son in Carp, and MS Slammer in trout.
