Lonewolf
whats up guys, just wanted some feedback on the Lexa 400 and or Kamodo 364. What are your thoughts on these. Are you using any one of them. I've been using Shimano for so long and love them but held a Lexa the other day and felt pretty good, smooth and seemed like a good big bait reel. I've only heard things about the Kamodo but have not yet touched one. Just curious on the reviews of these lower profile big bait reels. TmBtc12
What are you planning on throwing with it?
Sciaramitaro
I throw both, the Lexa 400 has a way bigger profile than the Komodo. IMO I like the Lexa forum big baits and the Komodo for my medium size baits. Have no complaints about either regardless
Lonewolf
Mainly bigger baits, reps 250's, mattlures glide, ragos ect. Was considering the higher speed for my glide baits. Use my calcutta 400b and D for most other stuff with the slower ratio.
Get_Biggens
There's a review section with plenty of info about reels.
brock194
I have several of the 364's in left hand retrieve. I've used them on baits up to a RM mother and 12" suicide glide. I really like them so far. I got them for the same reason you're looking....the 6.4 ratio is perfect for glides. Also throw baits as small as gan craft 178's w/ no problems. thedonnguyen
you don't need a lexa 400 sized reel to throw a deps 250...throwing it on a 400D is just fine. igl00jx
Lonewolf
10-4 guys, Ya Don thats what i've been using for mostly everything and I love them. Just think it would be nice to have more retrieve w some of the glides. something shimano doesn't have. Thanks for any advice.
thedonnguyen
if you want a faster reel, a lexa 300 will do.
