marc626
Let the fish be the judge, but with tail feathers. I trim them when I don't get bites. bigpoppabass
Magic Man CP
To Bass Swinger, on the marabou, you don't want to trim the ends,, it'll look unnatural. I personally wouldn't use marabou for trebles, it gets wadded up too easy. Go to a fly fishing shop, or online, and look for saddle hackle feathers. And keep in mind, the feathered trebles can have an effect on the action of a bait, especially some glide baits. Good luck! waynem

reelfish
I like a feather on the rear treble with top water lures.
derds126
I like feathers on baits that walk the dog just on one of the trebles typically the rear. To me it gives the bait a little extra action when you stall it. I like flashabou, kinda looks like fin movement to me.
