danthefisherman
Wondering if any of you who use braid can help me out... Which knot do you use to tie your bait or snap directly to braid? I usually use the improved clinch for use with mono, but that knot recently failed me when I was using it with braid. Thanks in advance! ISO_the1
i use the improved clinch(fisherman's) knot....wrap it around the main line 8 times, through the hole at the bottom and then back through the hole that was just created. Cinch it down REALLY tight. Braid has a tendency to "settle" so i leave a slight tag end when clipping the tag piece never had a problem I use the same exact knot with mono but only wrap it 6 times....again, no issues swimbaitman

Max_Dispoto
I've used both the Polamor and the clinch knot on braid and have never had either fail. If you tie them right they should hold ISO_the1

CCMD
Fish N Fool knot. Basically the Berkley Braid knot except you go through the eye twice. Link below. It is really easy to tie and tests out very well for braid. http://www.netknots.com/fishing_knots/fish-n-fool-knot SD032 and BiteTheBullet
