Deepfried Posted February 11, 2012 Report Share Posted February 11, 2012 I was workin a school of trout when I saw a Striper cruising and nipping at their tails. I had a punker on my sb rod and threw that out a couple times until it left. It didnt even look at it When back to working the trout until I saw it again. Took off the punker n put on a HUD. Threw it about 10 feet to the right of where it was and as soon as the hudd hit the water it went charging towards my HUD. It happens so fast that I actually didn't see it eat the HUD but my rod had already loaded up. It stripped a few feet but I turned it and got a few crank in. It did a couple of head shakes as it tried to turn on me.
