kpmob1
I'm in for this one, but I missed the first one so I'm out of the loop on the details and have a couple questions: 1. Are we playing for money or bragging rights? 2. What time and where do we all meet? I'm solo in my 17' bass boat. It's not the world's roomiest fishing platform, but my back seat is open and I'm happy to save one of you guys from pounding the shore line ... preferably one of you guys that actually knows the lake b/c I've never fished it and will be totally clueless out there!! -Dax SUB - Irvine Tournament: Tournament Time - Open - 3 pm Swimbaits only! No big worms, senkos etc. Team tournament - $20 entry per person - Big fish takes all. If you have a live well, you will bring in your big fish at the end. If you don't, apply the SUB online tournament rules with a picture/scale. At the end, the scale used with the biggest fish in a non live well boat will be used to weigh rest of the fish. If you are renting a boat, get to the lake early to fill out paper work and pay your fees. Once the lake opens you can head to the boat rentals. During that same time private boats have to deal with non tournament private boats at the launch ramp etc. Its a Saturday so the lake should be busy. Post Tournament - We will be heading to Denny's off the 55/17th in Santa Ana. It's roughly 10 mins from the lake and has a parking lot in the back that has enough space for trucks/trailers. Be ready for rain on Saturday. Aside from whoopin some ass on your friends during the tournament, the main objective is to get together and have fun doing what we all love! midnightbite
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Don! Sorry you can't make it down for this one ... although it looks like everyone that fished against you last time is happy about that!! -Dax
donkeychaser
I fished Irvine today for a few hours for nothing. Saw a TON of fish, and had few followers. Really like the new wake bait, had to use some caution because of the osprey or hawk? Good luck to everyone, can't wait for the reports from the veterans. echoedd
Just a quick reminder, when you get their anytime after the lake is open, GO FISH. We will all meet up 3 pm by the launch ramp to weigh in. Afterwards we can go grab a bite to eat, we can discuss where at 3. Good Luck!
