Swimbaitfisher98
They look great. I bet those feathers are gonna look good in the water on that slammer
Craig
They look good Zealand. That marbou will pulsate nicely, especially if you pause the bait after a hit. Feathers will create drag though so it will effect the movement. It might dampen the 'wiggle' or even pull the lure a bit deaper than normal. BASS_SWINGER
Looks good i was useing the same marabou but it seemed to clump up in the water sorta
brushhawg1
Nice job. Looks like maribou, which I also use, but I just went to my local fly store and got some hackle which looks really nice in the water. I will post pictures later. I have seen it suggested to use both together. The hackle in the water gives my Gantarel a nice added motion in the water. Very nice work! brushhawg1
This is a Gantarel I just did the hooks on and while the feathers are a bit long for my taste, in the water it gave the lure a fluid motion almost snakie, so I left them for now. Csweitzer
I do Maribou on all my glides. In California, glidebaits are so common the fish get used to 'em! The extra motion definitely helps. . . I think haha
