Of the gill glide baits currently on the market, I thought the BGC gill was the best. Right now, I am mostly using heavy floaters like the Imakatsu Gillroid Jr and the Breamslide. I get about half my bites as the bait floats up on the pause or is just floating there. It's hard to make a glide bait with a gill profile that doesn't blow out on a burn or quick jerk and that's reflected in how most of them swim.
