It will work somewhat, but you will get a much wider glide if you drop to 12 or 15 pound line. Bigger baits have enough mass to pull a heavy line on the glide. Born 2 fish Posted March 23, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2018 I fished it on 15 lb and 17 lb flouro and there was absolutely no difference in the performance of the bait so I'm going with 17lb since I'll be throwing a s at 200 at times with this combo.
