nfrumkin
Looking to get my first 250, should I go straight to the og or do the regular first?

northeast_trev
Might as well do the new model to start IMO. You'll be more confident throwing a $100 bait more than a $200 bait in my own experience with sinking baits. Then with time you'll be able to tell if you "need" the OG With how cheap and available the new models are it seems like a no brainer. If you lose it, sucks...but it was half the price. BamaChild
There are some good videos on YouTube about it. I forget the poster but just start by looking up "Everything you need to know about throwing a Deps 250" Im pretty sure. nfrumkin

Ipleadthefish2
I feel like, unless you are a bait "collector", the new model get's the job done at a much better price point. If you're planning on fishing the bait hard, get a new one. Just my opinion. thastickybandit
Ceaser
Alot of people are freaks for the OG cuz its adjustable.. but never tune or adjust it. I know plenty of people that have caught their PBs and DDs on the new version. But i do recommend getting the lip weight to keep it from nosing up nfrumkin, northeast_trev and urbanhick
