Loganodum38
Normally my go to night baits are a rat and my 10"TT but seeing that I lost my TT I had to use a 8" bbz last night. Was fishing a dock and saw a huge flash and thought it was a huge dock monster that I've had follow my 250s, so i paused and burned it once more and bam, assumed the fish was sick or injured since it put up hardly any fight, so I flipped it and it was a huge gizzard shad (or at least the biggest I've seen) FishDr, porkmeatballs, lendaCew and 2 others

jthod
Just snack sized! Makes you wonder just how big of a shad a 5 pounder can eat.I found one in the ice this year that was 15-16"
FishDr
I bet it was trying to spawn with it - I’ve had pods of big gizzard shad swim all around my bigger seimbairs and even rub themselves against them.
