    The other improvement I made this year was a Steady Cast heading sensor. If you're an offshore angler, especially fishing spot on the spot, the heading sensor is a great addition. I swear I've got 3 miles of cable in the hull of this kayak now though. It was a project getting all of them somewhat sorted and secured.

    I mean, it's pretty obnoxious, but it is cool....haha I use livescope a ton for crappie, white bass, and wiper. Having two screens for that and keeping accurate on offshore spots is huge for me.

    Bigger taller kayak will help tremendously, if it fits in your budget. I fish out of a hobie pro angler 14. I can comfortably stand to fish, as long as the wind permits.

    Fg knot. Watch a bunch of YouTube videos, and practice the knot until you are confident in it. I use it for by braid to leader knot from Swimbait gear (65lb to 25lb leader), down to 4lb test on ice fishing setups.

    Had two breaks on fish throwing A Rigs on 20lb abrazx. The next week I had two on 25lb CXX. Back to 50lb braid for this clown.
