ISO_the1 Posted April 6, 2018 Report Share Posted April 6, 2018 So this past weekend was a BLAST!! Got to meet people I have made transactions with, learned from, taught and talked ish with! Got to see, experience and fish areas I've never been to before, but hopefully will be able to fish again! I fished my first tournament in over a decade, in an unknown area with less than desirable conditions. Started the weekend way behind schedule. Meet up with another swimbait fisherman I meet in one of the FB groups. He was kind enough to take me out to his favorite spot and got me on my first bass of the weekend! So pumped!! Next, made it to the location of the 2nd BABC Swimbait Shootout. Got an hour of sleep in the front seat of my truck when my partner arrived. Got right to it, loading gear in the boat, launching, and mentally preparing. Then sat around and waited for 3 hours. Managed to catch my second bass of the weekend, which never made it to weigh-in but I got a picture with. My first bass caught on the delta. Was a little bummed out and down about the lack of sleep and lack of fish but the raffle had just begun and it seemed like I had the lucky numbers.
