danthefisherman
Not trying to open a can of worms or anything, but what ever happened to Wooden Swimbaits? They were becoming pretty well established and then they just fell off the charts for some reason...

bpm2000
Wattup everyone, haven't posted here in forever but saw this post thought I might comment. I am personally unaffiliated with Wooden Swimbaits and Magnum Baits but know the Magnum Baits guys well and they will be on later to clear up any confusion on this situation. MagnumBaits
Hello everyone. MagnumBaits would like to clear the air on this issue. WSB and MagnumBaits are NOT the same entity, in no way is WSB now MagnumBaits. There was an affiliation in the infancy of Magnum, and that affiliation has been disconnected and will remain disconnected. Once the Magnum party found out about the issue mentioned above in this thread, disconnection happened INSTANTLY. While there is still a connection on a personal level (we have been friends for a long time), there is absolutely ZERO business affiliation between WSB and MagnumBaits. Any affiliation you can find online is merely residual and we are still working to make sure this confusion cannot happen in the future...hence this post. Be aware MagnumBaits does not know the details of what happened, only enough knowledge is known to make the decision to disconnect. In no way does Magnum have any details of the happenings (other than general info) and cannot help alleviate matters that are or may be still in existence with WSB, that is their issue not Magnum's. In no way is MagnumBaits bashing or speaking negatively about WSB, that is NOT what this is. Any business practices conducted by WSB are in no way representative of MagnumBaits. We have cleared the air between some parties as it pertains to WSB and Magnum, and those parties contacted Magnum themselves in order to make sure we were aware of the situation and to help protect the Magnum name and we greatly appreciate those persons and their efforts (you know who you are). If anyone has any questions you can email magnumbaitsusa@gmail.com and we will try to help, but again, be aware we cannot help alleviate any issues that may still be in existence. To those that have mentioned the 10" MagStick and the 6.25" Mauler, we thank you for the mention and hope you slay some beasts! Thank you for your time. -Mag Primus
