Shimano77
Anyone upgraded their tranx 300/400? Curious of bearing upgrades, knob changes, handle changes, etc....Im not a fan of either stock handle option and wondering if anyone has upgraded? zsneezes
Fairly recently DRT released just the knobs from their varial handle. I recently switched out the knobs on my tranx and am loving it. No big fish yet but I enjoy fishing with the reel even more now. (sorry the pic is huge lol) Edited April 18, 2018 by zsneezes RIVET

Are they hard to find/get like the other drt handle products?

Yeah they are still kind of hard to find, there are a few Japanese auction sites that have had them available recently. mike son

Do I need any hardware to make them work on my Tranx or is it included with the knobs?

Knobs arrived but not installed. I need new bearings to fit the knobs but have not had time to measure with calipers to figure out exactly what bearing is needed.
