Mountainryan
Hey everyone, finally able to do some fishing up here and ran into some weird problems. Picked up a few battleshads this winter and rigged one up. Rig was perfect, especially since I’ve struggled to rig them in the past. Pretty sure I used the right beast hook but can’t remeber and it’s out in the boat. Took a little test cast and this thing is swimming totally f$&ked. Weird head down roll/ heavy wobble at all speeds . Any idea what’s up? Wrong hook? Like a 10/0 instead of an 8/0? I’m stumped.

kahai808
you should be using a 10/0. you could try and put a couple tungsten pins in the cheeks. If that doesnt work and still dont like them, ill take them off your hand. DuranSD and asavamedhi 1
