Carterdale
Id like to start off by saying I am not artistic and I have no back ground in wood working or painting, I just have some time on my hands and enough money for some Habor Freight tools lol. I made a glide bait not to long back and it looked like absolute trash but it swam decently and did glide (kinda). But I wanted to try a panfish shape and I gave it a shot! It swims amazing, exactly how I didn't expect it too The back hook should have been placed farther back and I was going to put a tail but I am scared it will ruin how it swims. I will post a picture when I catch a fish on it! If there is anybody wanting to make a bait but thinks they aren't skilled enough, just do it, you aren't going to make a bait that you can sell for $150 and get rich off of but you will have fun and get some sweet bragging rights. azsouth, Swimbaitfinatic and porkmeatballs
Sdmf7
Hey. It doesn’t look bad at all. That will defiantly get bit. You could still ad another hook hanger further back if your hooks are getting caught on each other.
JoshPerkins802
Hey, no shame in that bait at all.
porkmeatballs
I think it looks great! I think tails help to stabilize glidebaits by reducing rolling in the water, but if it already swims well, don't mess with it.

mike h
You’re on your way. Not bad at all. Make sure you seal it to keep water out.
