They gave up Berglund, Sobotka (who I think is one of the most underrated two-way centers in the game), Tage Thompson, 2nd round pick in '21, and a 1st round pick in '19 or '20. All for a guy who's best point total in a season is 64 and who is a career -53 in +/-. Personally, I think it would have been more than fair if St. Louis would have kept Sobotka or Thompson and their 1st round pick. But the Sabres GM has been fleecing teams this off-season. He absolutely ROBBED Carolina blind for Jeff Skinner. I imagine Carolina's fans feel like the native americans who traded New York for $25 worth of crap back in the 1600's. So kudos to him. Yea savers have been absolutely stacking. I cant believe skinner got picked up that easy. I think the hurricanes are trying to tank so they can move locations... and yea the blues gave up alot for a way overrated player. Hes good but that's alot for him like you said. We have a minor league team in KC, the Missouri Mavericks, their games are affordable and a hell of a good time.
