I've caught more and bigger bass on my 7 inch x2 s than my 9s all day for the last 3 years. And it rang true again this morning with a 5.9. I learned that filing slightly an unequal joint goes a long way....try the crankdown 2xes would be interested in hearing from folks who the smaller model. The 9 inch 2x dc (if you get a good one) is very hard to put down because it is too much fun.
