Dirty Diesel
Is there an good largemouth fishing in Idaho? Particularly in the Boise area? Some of my family just moved there. I just visited for the second time. I fished a pond near their house, but don’t know where else to go. I live in California, everyone I have talked to here says they have good trout and smallmouth. But I’m more interested in Swimbait fishing for largemouth. I’m not asking for your secret spots or anything lol but is there any members from Idaho that can point me in the right direction? basssavage24/7
Yes there is good largmouth to be had. It's all northern strain tho. So you are 90% of the time your going to be what I call sifting thru the 2 and 5 pounders.
Ryker Memmott
Yes I live in Idaho too. I go to to CJ strike it has large mouth and smallmouth. You can also go to lake Lowell it has some big largemouth. Try to through crankbaits and rattle traps but if you want a big swimbait bite try an s-waver or a real prey alewife. CarlF
Lots of good bass fishing in the Boise area. Lowell is right in your backyard, plus you have a ton of good smallmouth reservoirs.
