Bass_blaster
I came across some Mothers recently and there were some treble hook ones as well as a couple Top hooks ones. I rarely ever see anyone on here with the top hook models though so curious if that’s because they’re less desirable or just harder to find? I picked up a trout pattern in treble hook and thinking of also jumping on the trout pattern top hook as well but hadn’t planned on buying two at the same time. Nick S.
Top hooks are hard to come by and they don’t make the hook harness for them anymore.
Bass_blaster
Well, if anyone is interested, Anglers Arsenal in east county SD has a mother tophook in trout pattern. I believe it’s $375 and it was in great shape, possibly not even used from what I could tell. I don’t work there and not affiliated at all, just a heads up in case anyone is interested in grabbing it before I go back there and spend money I really don’t need to. thedonnguyen
they really gotta hit the top hook mother in just the right spot...works ok for the top hook negotiators, but the mothers another story... El_Weruso
fishhct
its such a giant bait you're probably better off going with the bottom hook anyways, when you watch fish swipe at bigger glide baits they almost always hit it from the bottom, also the bottom hook roman made is what they use exclusively in the roman made finder volumes
cascadekiller
the top hook baits are really only useful when you're fishing them on/near the bottom or over grass, helps reduce snagging.
