I do all my striper plugs and swimbaits with spray paints, so many options. look into graffiti brand paints like montana or molotow, low pressure, cap/tip options and color selection is insane, a few more bucks a can but I get more baits per can so actually ends up being cheaper in that sense. Toxic baits is all spray paints too. Thats a solid fish on your first bait too!! Thanks for the tips on the spray paint man I'm definitely going to look into that!
