thastickybandit
If you’re looking to tune the new version to be an xss. My notes I have are front ballast at. 28.5 g and rear ballast at 18.10 Its important to know that this was tuned in 55 degree water. Also you may have to add and subtract here weight here and there. Mossypumpkin
I’ve played a bit with storm suspend dots on the nose of the bait and it seems to work well. This is on the new model. Helps keep the nose down and make it sink just a hair faster; more like an OG. And I’m typically running st-41s

I forgot to note that I am using hyperwire splits (size:5 or 6) and decoy 1/0 light wire trebles(Y-F33F) using owner ultra splits(heavier splits) and heavier hooks st41,st46 or st56 should help sink a bit more. I thought with lighter weight the new 250 would nose more but that's not the case. It stays pretty level.

swimbait 24/7
Sorry for not telling the public/SU my way of tuning both new and old 250's & 175's, Each bait is different in finding there (sweet spot) via hooks, weighting, and pin adjustments/angle or hybrid tuning on the new style = OG specs. I've spent many hours figuring out what i see in a Slideswimmer/fish reaction and i'm not going to give my hard work/methods up. For years it's $10.00 bucks cash in with your bait for the return shipping cost, "donations to my beer fund are optional" I only do it because i'd like to see you have your shot for a PB......(You can't afford to pay me hourly).....so for that my time is for the Swimbaiting community = Free...N/C ...Lol it cost me money, but i do like a beer while working on your bait......Ps Money was never my goal in swimbaiting, Only the big fish and the passion of chucking big baits, who would have ever thought i'd see the checks for $$$$ just for having fun and getting pumped.......
