In the off-set gear box are advanced oversized gear systems, providing the smoothest ever retrieving. 50/51S has super shallows spools for finesse fishing with 3-6lb test. 100 and 200 are the most often used for freshwater bass fishing. 300 and 400/401 comes with A-RB(anti-rust ball bearings) for further saltwater resistance. Spool clicking system is on 300 and 400/401. 50/51-200/201 comes with drilled (wiffle) spools. 300, 400 and 401 comes with normal spools. Salt water fine. Country to origin though has nothing to do with what market they were produced for. If you want to start a small riot you could always sell the DRT handles separately. Reels that include aftermarket mods rarely sell for the premium the customization cost at baseline.
