smalliebigs
They can put a lot of stuff down to keep that grass green, and the resident geese drop a lot of nasty stuff too. Be sure to clean up after hitting the "greens"...

smalliebigs
I only hit one on lunch break and going/coming from work, but I must really suck cause I haven't caught a good fish out of it yet. I can only imagine how bad I would suck on tough fisheries like the delta or clear lake...
SPEEDBEAD
Jeezus, I didnt realize there are so many things you can't do in swimbaiting... Can't fish a golf course pond, cant catch a fish off a bed, cant fish a 6" bait because its not a swimbait, etc, etc, etc... I just want to fish. Dont care when or where at this point. smalliebigs
Actually, I know what you mean. I can catch 5-10 lb trout any time I want on this one private stretch of creek, but they are fed "trout food" every day. Just show up, throw out a wooly bugger, strip strip, fish on. It is like shooting fish in a barrel. 2 miles down the creek it is public and a whole different story. I enjoy a 20" fish from the public stretch more than a 30+" fish from the other. "Ponds" are like any body of water, there's all kinds. Darth Baiter
Lucas
I'd tie on a Real Deal and flush it down the toilet if I knew there were double digit bass living in the sewer system. Farm ponds, golf course water hazards, hundred thousand-acre lake, etc. I don't care where they live. If it's got big fish, I'll give it a go.
