A PSA reminder regarding golf course ponds

Jeezus, I didnt realize there are so many things you can't do in swimbaiting...

 

Can't fish a golf course pond, cant catch a fish off a bed, cant fish a 6" bait because its not a swimbait, etc, etc, etc...

 

I just want to fish. Dont care when or where at this point.

Sorry your not allowed to want to fish, you can only fish when you dont want to. Don't you know anything about swimbaiting?

Actually, I know what you mean. I can catch 5-10 lb trout any time I want on this one private stretch of creek, but they are fed "trout food" every day. Just show up, throw out a wooly bugger, strip strip, fish on. It is like shooting fish in a barrel. 2 miles down the creek it is public and a whole different story. I enjoy a 20" fish from the public stretch more than a 30+" fish from the other. "Ponds" are like any body of water, there's all kinds.
