Mkel83 Posted April 18, 2020 Report Share Posted April 18, 2020 Post frontal, windy and cold. Got her on a top hook trout Hud 68. I was pitching it around a wind blown bank and some surrounding wood. Set the hook and busted my ass but managed to keep enough pressure on her thankfully... the woes of bank fishing. Absolutely choked it. Weighed in at 4.82. Dude, don't even get me started...my first swimbait fish was in a rented rowboat (so standing up is already sketch as hell, but I just can't bass fish sitting down), and you remember how excited you were when you got your first swimbait bite. I set the hook so hard the boat rocked, I fell 3/4 on my *ss and 1/4 on my rods, somehow by the grace of God I didn't snap em all in half. My buddy was DYING. So when I set the hook my feet went out from under me and I hit the ground with one big motion.
