First soft bait fish!

Not sure if a Keitec 6" Fat with an under spin counts as a swimbaiit fish. Butttt...I got 3 fish on a soft bait today. Not to mention it was 105 out today.

I have been skunked for about 2 years. Im not sure when there is a bite or not.

Today on both fish, I felt like I was hung up on something, but set the hook anyways. Maybe a 2.5# and then a 4# fish and a damn catfish!

By setting the hook when I feel like I'm hung up, last cast of the day, snagged my bait 100 feet out and broke it off :(. Glad they are not $100+

Keitechs rule!! A versatile bait that gets bite well. Under spin or not, the fish love and they’re not that expensive.  To me, once you use a bait that 6” or bigger it becomes a swimbait fish
