MattGbaz
After fishing 175 ss, Gancraft 178, nego etc I want to step up to my first big glide. What would you guys recommend a islide 262 or deps 250. My waters have a moderate amount of pressure. Which would you recommend I purchase first. pondbeater
I haven’t fished the Islide but the deps 250 is great MattGbaz

basssavage24/7
250 its super user freindly. I like my islide 262 but I made the mistake as buying that as my first Glide bait. The 262 is not user friendly and a higher gear ratio is a must with this reel to pick up line. I could getaway with the cardiff with the 250. There's no way with the 262. Mossypumpkin
250 and/or Hinkle shad and/or KGB legend. Or just go straight to a mother chaser lol CG_Fishes and Streamer
WI_Swimbaits
I’d go with the deps 250. Personally I have not used the 262 but the 250 is easy to use and is proven time and time again for catching big bass. If you want something cheaper go with the Gan Craft 230 I’ve also done well with that.

You prolly won’t get a bite on a straight retrieve with the 262 you gotta do some rod pumping. It’s kinda hard to get a feel for but once you get grasp how you do it it’s a pretty good bait. basssavage24/7 and MattGbaz
