  1. I can't stop thinking about Bat Metal from youtube. I feel like that sort of art style and comedy would be really cool and funny.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I53HDr0-Qew&pp=ygUJYmF0IG1ldGFs
  2. It works. Still nowhere near as soft as the new ones but it definitely softens them up.
  3. Snapping turtles and the occasional territorial duck are the most you gotta worry about float tubing in SoCal
  4. What I look for in a good rat is definitely stability (doesn't wash to one side when I crank down), I prefer the bait to have a slight wobble when slow reeling, and a good squeak or clack.
  5. I personally like to add some weight to the front and use the joint pads/ sticky dots for furniture on the last joint to (almost) completely lock it out. I'm able to dead walk it with ease and on a straight retrieve it will swim fluidly like a triple trout. It is a very fun bait to play around with and just see what you can make it do.
  6. toy with bottom contact. You dont always have to drag the bottom. I've found that kinda moon bouncing if that makes sense works for me.
  7. At most of my lakes here in SoCal I can look at the bank or features around me and I'm able to get a pretty good idea of what is going on out deeper.
  8. Look up swimbait tech on instagram. Manny Chee fixed a bullshooter 190 with a crack in it. I did the same.
  9. The xh muse has a pretty short handle compared to the xh ldc in my opinion.
