Top Ramen
Back in the 90s I fished Fork 7 years in a row in March and a few of them years we seen snow with low 30s for air temps. Spring is crazy warm/cold down your way and I'm sure fall/winter is the same. It is kind of crazy. In Jan/Feb, it will be in the mid to low 30s when we get out on the water before dawn, with the lake steaming and fogging up because the water is so much warmer than the air temp, but it's often in the 70s by noon. Or, we'll have three days of highs in the low 40s then a week of t-shirt weather. One of the lakes I fish has a creek dumping into it that's from an artesian well. The water in the creek mouth is 65 degrees all year because it comes from underground. So, it's the coldest spot in the summer and the warmest spot in the winter. It's a bit odd fishing there when the air temp is 35 and the water temp is 65.
