SacPig916 Posted March 5, 2021 Author Report Share Posted March 5, 2021 Many months of effort, 20 hour days and a very sore arm has led us here. We're now considered to be finished with the design and testing phase. The only thing left is getting the aluminum tail mold and this project is 100% complete. Also, our loan was approved yesterday and the moving will begin in 13 days, so I'll have my garage when the time comes to fully release, which looks like it might be within 30 days from this point. Thank you for keeping up with us, I've met some amazing people from here already and can't wait to talk with more of you. SacPig916 Posted March 10, 2021 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2021 Since the 1 piece is done and we're close to moving. I really want to get the 2 piece into its prototype stages. I've only built a few so far, but I think I have what I want down and done. I still want to fish them for a few months before I come to a full conclusion, but everything just kinda came together very well for this one as both my partner and I had way more experience from building the 1 piece rat. Here's some pics of the 4 I made today. 2 of them have the joint I liked from the previous model, but different hook spacings and the other 2 are a single screw with a pin style joint. Now for some customer PB's @Jim137a has been putting work in on his rat lately and it did land him a NJ giant! Many other very nice fish also. Note that this is his Swimbait PB, not sure what his overall PB is. Another PB from a local @ 5.8lbs on the 2 piece. A glutton for a rat right here, how could it even fit more food? Seeing somebody on video catching their pb was amazing. The moment see noticed that it was his PB, the adrenaline was pumping. From the missed net to the relief of landing it. SacPig916 Posted August 21, 2021 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2021 I changed out my phone and accidently forgot to save a bunch of C2C's i've uploaded to IG from other people, so heres some paint and catches! Changes to the bait : Upgraded the 1/8th bill to a 3/16 bill! Started making knocker balls with rattles and I have a few more things coming down the pipeline. I am happy to say though! I am 100% happy with the resin mixture for my crank down 2pc and I will be releasing it for the public for sale as of today! I also have a 2 piece crawler in the mix as well as a crankdown (the same bait) and I will be trying to make my rat a bat but I dont have any details on that for you yet as it's still heavily in RND! My buddy Nick from "The Bass Hookup" on YouTube did an amazing video on my rats. I did not ask him too so it was such a surprise. Here is a link to it, his channel has a bunch of great information of fishing the delta and over all great advice. I am also nearly complete with the booty shaker design i've been working on. The Yozuri Knuckleball is what started it all and i've been wanting to get something I designed released. Should work on any top water wake bait. I have no idea why it works so well, but it increases my bites by nearly double compared to just a straight tail. Also have a fundraiser coming up for breast cancer "awareness", we will be donating to the cure but awareness is what most people know.
