  1. Appreciate it man! Fishing ponds is all about novelty. Show them something they haven't seen, they adjust in a week, then never bite the bait again. This was my experience for every smaller body of water I've fished. The fish are smarter because of pressure. I developed the rats for pond fishing, like Mossy said, the 1pc with assist cords KILLS these bodies of water.
  2. Take off your reel cover and check to see if the ceramic piece is inside the cover. The hole where your spool fits in.
  3. What ever your rod length is, + best casting position. Example, my 806 does better with 4in hanging from the tip, but my 867 needs about 7-8in to get it to load during casting. The knot should stop before your reel, but never go into it.
  4. I have a 2pc poured with a body style i've never released to the public I'll get some pics up when I start on it
  5. 2k is amazing stuff. Make sure you are in a INSANELY WELL VENTALATED AREA and wear a respirator with organic filters.
  6. I always feel a little guilty promoting my product, but I 100% have the best microballoons in the USA. Contact me on instagram and lets do a video chat and get to the bottom of this!
  7. Find a box that perfectly fits your bait, parcel size is an important factor when it comes to shipping prices, way more than weight. U-Line has an amazing selection of boxes and I highly soggiest ordering from them, one thing about U-Line is the dang shipping prices though. Stay far away from amazon boxes, if you sneeze wrong they will disintegrate
  8. There is guides to follow when watching anime to cut out useless filler. I myself am not a HUGE fan, but I do enjoy some of them. Not sure how I feel about a fishing anime hahaha!! If you dislike or don't watch a lot of Anime, One Punch man really does a great job at poking fun of other anime's while still being entertaining.
  9. I went through this at one point. Ultimately I just decided to buy 400 size reels and use 30lb big game. Before the change, I was running 80lb braid to 30lb big game, still think B2L is the best way to topwater fish. Another realization I had was, big game may not be the best line in the world, however it was inexpensive so I didn't mind changing out my reels every week to keep fresh line in demand.
  10. I've spent a lot of time with mine, it's by far my favorite crankdown I own. Something about the size and sounds just flat out catches, I don't have the same success on other CD's.
  11. Amazing bait, it sounds like dominoes. Catches for me, versatile retrieve depending on reel speeds and rod height. Only thing I suggest is adding a 150lb solid ring to the line tie. It will stabilize the bait at higher speeds while keeping the original action.
  12. If you have any other questions that I can't answer on a timely manner, visit www.sacpig.com for more info. 2pc is 145$
  13. Got a batch of 2pc's and a left over 1pc left when you decide which one ya want! www.sacpig.com
  14. You don't have to buy them... Time to go paint some pink rats. In all honesty though. Developing a master, protoyping the master, evolving the master, getting 3d prints of master, costs of labor during this period could be up to 1 year with out a single dime and hundreds of hours. Once you finalize your master after spending 4000$ modifying it, now you need to have proper silicone skills and a formula for your resin. Sanding and making sure resin is presentable is a HUGE health concern along with many other steps in this process. Hours to paint, then finding a top coat that works for your bait, then assembling the bait and finally tuning it. Paying for shipping materials, stickers and the final drive to the post office after packing them all up. Yes, wood is cheap, but its never perfect. You aren't going to make perfect replica's of wooden baits that have detailed features. I think we are lucky in the end that the price of labor isn't increasing the costs of most resin baits. I'd say 80-170 is a pretty fair price and we should mostly be happy about it not being much higher.
  15. You're gonna need to send this to me hahahaha I LOVE IT!!
  16. Appreciate it brotha!!! I have a 1pc 1.5oz rat that I make for 80$ if you are looking for something under 100$
  17. I hug the banks, big ones push up when its cold, smaller ones go deeper. You need to be the first one to fish it after the night reset though.
  18. You can 100% stopcast at night, you need to practice at night and get used to how fast the bait is pulling line out. Once you do it and keep practicing, doing it with your eyes closed will be second nature. Promise Sizing down the hooks is always another option like stated above, but you will lose hookup %, how much I don't know.
  19. Practicing stop casting fixes nearly every issue with hook hangups!!
  20. I'd give it a shot with 0 mold release, just the silicone mold to mold release.
  21. check all your topical coatings, clay and releases for sulpher or silicone. By chance, are you molding a 3d printed model?
  22. In a nutshell, for anything stretchy, use a SDJ, for anything brittle or *MOST* braids a Uni knot will work out. These 2 knots preform better than nearly every knot for their application. Unless you get an inline scale and do all your testing for the line of your choice, these 2 are by far the safest knots to use, don't exceeded 7 loops/twists. I do prefer the way I tie mine, there is 1 step that I think really helps create a stronger SDJ. https://www.instagram.com/p/CfqvIQED3-t/
  23. If you are using a .092 screw to direct tie to, i highly suggest putting a owner solid ring on it to lower the diameter, rather than going to a snap. I avoid all unnecessary weak points and I think the moment you tie any snap on, you are introducing a failure point, however small it is. The same goes with using split rings, however not all baits you can open the eyelet to swap in for a solid ring. However... there is another issue that is often overlooked. When bait makers tune their baits, some do so by grabbing the eyelet and bending it left or right to correct the straightness on retrieve. When doing this, they leave small and sharp abrasions on the screw itself. Not all baits have this issue.
