weedless 8 inch magdraft mod

I came up with this idea when making a weedless 8 inch fluke type bait. All you need for this is a 7/0 weedless screwlock swimbaithook (could be bigger for the 10 inch version) and pliers. When you get the hook take the screw lock of it and bend it out so that the point is flush to the back of the bait when the eye of the hook is touching the hook hanger. Just rig the bait up and you are done.
I think that this is stronger then cutting the bait open and is reversible if you don't like it.

I just made a weedless mag draft with an owner beast 10/0

first:  I pulled the harness out the difficult way as you can see, then I had to mendit the head back together.
second: I mendit the mouth shut and cut a bigger hook slot.

third: I rigged it up and mendit the back of the hook slot closed.

Oliver Ngy has a video about doing this on the BBD channel, he cuts through the belly instead of the head. Overall it seems like a good mod that I'll have to try this when the harness on mine wears out
