I just got a Hobie Mirage outback and was wondering is anyone has any tips for swim bait fishing out of a kayak? Interested in positioning and power when setting the hook and fighting a fish. Also what is a good net for it?

I would get a couple sizes and different head angles because that is what I had most problems with when using jig hooks

You can probably buy a lip from a lure part site or cut one yourself from lexan polycarbonate just make sure you get the right thickness of acrylic. -
There are a lot of overhyped baits out there what would say is the most overrated/ over hyped bait. (Does not have to be a swim bait)

Overall very good, paint and tail you could probably improve on. Don’t know the action so it is pretty hard to say what you should change.
