Personal Best - Korean Jun-chi (predatory carp)

I've been fishing this spot for a few years now with little success, despite my perceived potential of it.  For whatever reason this spring, the big Jun-chi (Korean name for these predatory carp) are using it as a feeding point, and they are not afraid to hit the minnow profile hard baits.  A few years ago I caught one of similar length, but this one was thicker and girthier by a large margin.

I’ve never seen one of these before, looks exactly like a tarpon

I've never seen a tarpon or a snook in real life, but I had it in my head that these fish resembled snook more so than tarpon. But like I said, I don't really know.

Maybe a mix of the two?
