rwp
What are your non swimbait specific set ups? Here's mine. I push my rods pretty hard, but the heavy line weights are mostly for abrasion resistance. I do use the 50lb rod for swimbaits too for striper. They all have 16" rear grip lengths. 30lb - Trinidad 12 (15lb drag) on a 12-25 moderate, 7'9" 40lb - Talica 8 (20lb drag) on a 15-30 moderate spiral wrapped, 7'10" 50lb - Tranx 500pg (25lb drag) on a 15-40 moderate 7'11"

Sawhill-guy
Some of my non-swimbait setups: 7'2 6th Sense Sensory Medium Fast with a Shimano Curado 70 MGL 7'3 6th Sense Sensory Heavy Fast with a Shimano Curado DC 7'4 St Croix Mojo Bass Glass Medium Heavy Moderate with a Shimano Curado K 7'1 St Croix Mojo Bass Medium Heavy Fast with a Shimano SLX My St. Croix crankbait rod still gets a good amount of use. I have some fly stuff and spinning stuff too, but they get used a lot less than these do. I use Sufix 832 braid and Invisx leader on most of these unless I'm going topwater.
