SPEEDBEAD
I know the baits will catch fish in a wide range of temps, but what do you feel is ideal for this style of bait?
SwimbaitsatLMV
Any and all but the warmer the better.
Mnbassbuster002
i would say it would be a good pre-spawn bait or late fall. i haven't fished it in the spring but i have fished gliders in the fall and they work good. although i am sure that they will get bit all year long. my personal opinion is cooler temps. the slow methodical side to side action looks like an easier meal than a freestyle buring by their head. just my thoughts and little bit of expierence. Squid07
I know the baits will catch fish in a wide range of temps, but what do you feel is ideal for this style of bait? Been wondering the same myself. Ive been using mine a lot since I got it a while back and haven't had any luck catching fish with it. Ive had a TON of followers and just a few bass that would hit it. I have noticed though that the warmer the water gets, the more action I've been getting on it so Im hoping that things will change when the water warms up even more. The lake temps where I live are averaging around 58-62 degrees right now.

I can get them to dance with it all day long, but they dance like a school boy just before puberty, they won't touch it

SwimbaitsatLMV
The bait does well in warm temps due to the erratic action if worked accordingly.
SPEEDBEAD
Well, I'm fishing a lake tomorrow that water temps are currently between 55-60. MASSIVE cold front coming tonight so I thought fishing the uber slow sink/suspending 175 would be a decent option. Not afraid of not getting bit, so I guess it can't hurt. SwimbaitsatLMV
Work it slower and it will work wonders. If you can stand it, reel slow enough to have a bow in your line with a few quick cranks here and there.
