Andrew Hinkle - Hyper Trout Order Status

Hi SU Fam,

Have any of you had challenges with your Hyper Trout order? I haven't been able to get a hold of Andrew since November and I preordered my baits over a year ago.

He's shared with my that their were delays, but he'd send me a tracking number first week of December. After reaching out multiple times, I still haven't heard from him.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can kindly follow up besides spamming his inbox via email and IG?

Thanks,

Andrew

His process is hard to explain. You’ll wait and wait. Then wait some more. He is working and perfecting. You’ll wait some more. And then finally when you’ve had enough, it’ll show up. That’s when you realize you’d wait twice as long to get another one and then you place an order for more as soon as you get the chance

Thanks for the guidance.

Ya just forget about it and it will show up, I waited a year and 3 months for a Hinkle Trout when he did the order. It will show up but you just have to forget about it. Really common with custom bait makers.

seems bait makers bite off more than they can chew.  It's almost like a loaning them money and the form of repayment is your bait in this case.   There's a few that have been able to keep up with the demand and by doing that they keep their flipper/reseller ceiling low which is great for fisherman ;)

Thanks Mike! Haven’t talked/seen you in 10 years with Jun. Hope you’re doing well!
