peter_the_fox
Hey guys, looking for some insight on what you use for rigging baits like the battles trout and modified hudd rigs. I know a lot of guys use wire leader connections but I'm curious as to which brands and if crimps are being used or a simple haywire twist. Kinda looking for all insight on the use and abuse of titanium and other wire leaders....bass or not. Thanks SU

MA Frog Man
Not to derail a thread but I think it's relevant to the discussion. Anybody ever used any knottable titanium leader when rigging anything?
bigpoppabass
I didn't like the tyable leader stuff cuz knot is bulky and not clean enough. But I have generation 1 of the stuff.
SPEEDBEAD
For teeth, I use 100lb fluoro and Jinko "J" crimps For bass, I use the sevenstrand in 60lb and the appropriate crimps. nwkurt
Mossypumpkin
I use the same version people use with braid, but I use mono. Don't have to carry crimps, wire and sleeves. It takes me about 2 minutes to tie so I can retie anytime it gets frayed. And if I want I can rig t with a slightly lighter line than my main line so if I hang up I can break my hook leader and keep my hudd.
