surfk9
First a little rambling...I had the opportunity to fish the Cal Delta last week..I invited my friend Darren "The Baby Brush Hog Guru"..we've fished together frequently over the years, he methodically plying his skill with the BBH...catching numerous Big fish , as I power fish with five rods with an array of large cranks & swimbaits..this particular windy (Normal !) Delta Day @ 3pm he had 14 fish in the boat a 5, several 3-4 lbers (all released)...my side of the ledger was Zippo....As I ponder what to throw in the waning hours of the day I remember the 10 inch MS Slammer (Purple Nitro color) i received from Tim McAuliffe ... I showed Darren he grinned & laughed a little " What the hell are you hoping to catch with That?" Explained i recently purchased it from an SU member & wanted to see how it swam...I tossed it up close to the bank gave it few to rest & began my retrieve...Darren screams "Sh*t did u see that??" First cast with Tim's Slammer....7lbs 5 ounces...made my day & our day... Thanks , Tim...Go Fish bigpoppabass, SpamEggsandRice, 253caster and 26 others

SpamEggsandRice
It's always a great feeling when somebody make a remark about a swimbait until you get hooked up on a slob.
Primus
Love it , it can be hard to fish the big baits when you hav a buddy catching a bunch of fish on conventional gear . I'm sure it had to be a great feeling to stick that big fish especially under those circumstances , way to go and Congrats !
