  1. I knew SU would come through for me, thanks @ricardo!

  2. Without repeating too much info on the Build Thread, this is the exchange thread... Baits are 6.5" and 3.75 oz. They use 0.092" Stainless Steel screw eyes that are bent inside the bait to ensure they will never come out. Both models are $85 Shipped ($77+ shipping), and they come with beefy hardware. The wake bait and the glide bait can both be worked at high speeds and very slow speeds. The wake bait almost has a flopping/injured swim, while the glide bait has a defined natural "S" glide. I can custom paint them how ever you would like, I can even match a real gill for you. I have done Crappie, Bass, Shad, or Natural Gill patterns. Heck if you want one hot pink ill do it for ya. You can PM me on here, or find me on Instagram with the same name "VolunteerSwimbaits", and DM me there. You can find the swim video for the glide model HERE Let me know if you have any more questions, ill be glad to answer them... Ps. All profits will be going to help fund a missions trip to Ecuador this summer, thank you.

    Fookin catfish

Well got to fish a toxic bait finally. Got a new whipper snapper in the mail Saturday after missing out on a few in my price range. Went to a lake where we figured the fish might be in post spawn and be willing to eat the wake bait. Turns out they were and they were chewin. 15 or so fish to about 5 pounds in 3-4 hours. Last cast of the night got trainwrecked, turns out to be a big cat. For some reason had to take a picture. Fish slipped out of my hand and left with my rod tip and snapper. So one trip and already gone so soon.... oh well great bait tho and now I need another if anyone looking to get rid of one lol

    Brayden's Gill

Here we go for a second round. I'm keeping this as it is. I told myself to stop changing it haha last changes; no scales, some extra dorsal fin lines, no fins, no bottom fin and a small adjustment on the tail section.

  8. Was at my local pond yesterday, and the wind started blowing, followed by a 10 degree temp drop. Then clouds and rain. Tied on a WSB125 rat and bingo. This little fella wanted it. He was a little bigger than he looks, but not much! lol

    Daiwa DX SBT Rods

I have 2 Daiwa DX rods XXH and XH and they're my absolute favorite rods. I've beaten the living crap out of them and they still work wonders for me. I don't think there's another swimbaitunderground rod for the price that can compare. I effing love these rods, going to get a 3rd.

  16. Decent rods, I like mine. I'd just say for anyone looking to buy one....they're pool cues. I'd really only suggest it for weedless baits (like 12/0 beast hook). Even exposed jig hook baits I'd probably opt for a little softer rod if I had to replace mine. Oh, I almost forgot...the handles are VERY short. Like 13-14 inches from the butt to the reel seat if I remember correctly. Most of you guys probably won't like that.

  19. Caught this little football yesterday. Took the blk800 straight from the tube to a pond and had the boom boom smashed first cast. (Threw around a 7” dockrat gill prior and the rod feels made for it) Not a full rod review or anything just wanted to share my little chunk and excitement. Cheers SU

    Daiwa DX SBT Rods

@surfk9 they are nice rods, I picked one up used from the black Market and cleaned up/fixed the cork handle. If you get one I would suggest sealing the cork handle prior to use. also look at the Daiwa Kage series, it’s the next step up, think they’re like $220, not sure why TW doesn’t have em yet but they are very nice factory rods. Seems like a lot of places don’t carry em yet. Buddy has a couple of each and hasn’t had any issues at all with em.

  46. Segaur Tatsu is a sweet line. Pricey, but sweet. But I generally use braid to a copolymer leader and only dabble with fluorocarbon lines here and there.
