  1. Now that 2020 is just a memory let's start 2021 off fresh and hot. First I'd like to introduce the Mad Max Looker, this is a 6" glide that comes in right at 2oz. The size and profile of this bait fits a ton of bait fish profiles from fresh to the salt, and will have an array of color choices. I'd also like to let everyone checkout the new and improved Mad Crappie glide and cranker. This bait has been refined, reshaped a tad and has had swivel hook hangers added. I have some pretty killer paint ideas for this guys as well, looking forward to 2021. Swim vids will follow, thanks for looking... #MadMaxSwimbaits. #MadCrappie #LookerGlideBait #SwimbaitUnderground
  2. First two Mini killers weight tuned and assembled. The glide sinks at about 6-7 seconds per foot and weighs 2.41 ounces. The 3pc sinks about 3-4 seconds per foot and weighs 2.35 ounces and are 6.25”. Now for some swim tests, these should be winners...
  3. I use two magnum screw eyes with a stainless pin, V cut . I do this because it gives my rats a subtle more life like swim. If you ever seen a rat swim they do very smoothly, not like 90% or the rats on the market. Pic below is of my Sewer Rat crankdown, it will crank down about 2 to 3’
  4. I use LPO for magnums or Barlows Tackle BT has big packs for cheap https://www.barlowstackle.com/
  5. Coming real soon, I have a hand full of baits that I'm finishing up to take to the lake and do some filming
  6. I wasn't digging the black around the eyes or the bright pink on the nose, so I pulled the airbrush back out for a quick touch up. I like it a lot better now...
  7. I tried to edit but for some reason it wont allow it. The Crappie that is pictured was my first attempt at getting what I wanted, it was done on a blemished blank. The first version of the Killer Crappie is a glide bait which will be followed by a 3pc version and a billed wake version.
  8. Hey guys I want to throw a couple things that I've been working on for a while now, and they're finally getting on point. First is the Killer Crappie which is my first swimbait design, and one that's been a labor of love. I always see Crappie pattern painted baits but they never are the correct profile, so this is my answer to that. Secondly we have the Sewer Rat which also is a labor of love for me, soon to follow the Sewer Rat will be the Street Walker Rat and the Wake and Bake Rat. The Sewer Rat is a crankdown bait that will get a foot or three under the surface, the street walker will be a one piece walking bait for when a stealth is a virtue, and then we have the Wake and Bake, which is a Wake bait that will wake em up and bake them up. Please let me know what everyone thinks... #madmaxswimbaits, #killercrappie, #sewerrat, #basementbuilt
  9. DS perch glide $90 shipped you pay fees, pretty much brand new. It just don't get used, so it's up on the block.
  10. A third sheet is roughly 24" x 72" and is enough to do 6 of the 705 boxes which are 14" x 14" roughly, and the cost was like $12 for a one third sheet. Here's a link, scroll down for the egg crate https://www.thefoamfactory.com/packagingfoam/charcoalfoam.html
  11. They don't move at all, it seems to keep the tails from getting all messed up as well
  12. I started with the same bag as StriperAddict, but after dropping a few baits down in the bottom and getting a hook snagged in the side of the bag because the bonnet fell off. I went and bought 4 Plano 705 XL prolatch boxes from TW for $8.50 each, then I ordered a third sheet of 1 1/2" egg crate foam from foamfactory.com for $12 and some two face tape (each box was $12 each total). I put a piece in the bottom and fastened a piece to the lid this will hold a single layer of baits super secure, without worrying about them getting beat all to hell. You could even toss them in a storage bin of your boat without having to worry about them bouncing all around. I'll attach a couple pics of them to give you an idea of how much each one holds. Also if using the bag that StriperAddict is using it will hold three of these boxes and zipper up, thats what I'm using I just tossed out the rack thing it comes with.
  13. There's a guy on Swimbait Universe that claims he works there, he's helped a few guys out with BDB issues. I can't remember his name though.
