Here's my first fish on my very first Bucca bull shad swimbait. This was the 6 inch gizzard slow sink model. Caught her during the pre spawn this year and she went almost 7lbs at 6.78 on the digital scale. I've since bought another 6 inch in bone, a 7 inch gizzard that I want repainted and an 8 inch gizzard, all slow sink. My favorite multi joint big swimbaits!! So far this season alone I'm at 27 bass over 5lbs in my pursuit of finally getting a 10+lber under my belt. Hasn't happened yet but I won't put the big baits down until I catch her!

I cannot get over the wake on this little hard tail bait. I absolutely love it. Stopped by a spot before work this morning and got 4. This was the best one on my last cast. Ate it over a rock pile I was standing on. He hit it and immediately took off and took line. (I was fishing with a pretty open drag) Fun little fight. Only one that didn’t look like it needed to eat. Good stomach on this one. Now it’s off to my sisters on Kauai and hoping to get on some Peacocks and / or Smallies.

The Bomber Wake made it to Sin City today. Im gonna fish it this wknd then off to the next member on monday or tuesday.

It seems I had to add even more projects to my plate for a bit of variety haha. I've been wanting to start pouring my own soft baits for awhile now, so I decided to start small with this finesse 5" paddle tail. The bait is meant to mimic any small baitfish with its generic minnow profile...smelt, threadfin, you name it. I designed it to be fished on a 4/0 Owner Beast Hook but extended the hook slots to accommodate others as well, including being rigged on a jig head or as a trailer for big bladed jigs and such. It has relatively simple detailing compared to what I'm used to, but I will also be adding a full set of polycarbonate fins before molding it. Making something so small is definitely out of my comfort zone, and I've already learned a lot through the carving process. It's so easy to cut off too much wood with such a small bait so much concentration and precision is crucial. Next up is cleaning up the master as much as I can and figuring out how to best mold and pour the thing.

Hi Su! Thanks to @Jinxd12I got my hands on my first slammer and Tonight I was able to throw it and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. No other baits produced and the slammer bite was hot and heavy. I was fishing it above submerged weed beds and a slow retrieve seemed to be the ticket. After catching multiple 3-5 pounders I was messing with my rod while the slammer was chilling in the middle of the lake for 4-5 minutes. Next thing I know the slammer gets destroyed. I reeled into the fish and knew it was a giant. A couple seconds later she jumps and I can see that it is in the 6.5-7.5 range. (Giant for me) next thing I know she goes straight down and gets stuck in the weeds. Nothing I can do. Felt no more head shakes so I knew she was gone...

You put it to em! Great catches man! I have the exact same slammer only in 9 inch. Now I have the exact same one in 7 inch on the way. The slammer just flat out catches em! You'll have at least 4 in your box in no time though!

Took the kayak out for some night fishing. Fished from 9-2 and had steady action. Caught 6 dinks and lost another couple. Moon was bright with clouds rolling through. All fish were real tight to shore and all fish hit it just after touchdown. Bomber is a cool little bait. Great for twitching and walking. Bait is not a cranker. It swims well at speed but will only get down inches. True waker. Gonna try to get out a couple more times. Here some dinks

This is a Strike King King Shad, a 4" 7/8 oz jointed crankbait basically. This was given to me probably back in 2007, and I modified it in 2008 by bending the bill to make it more of a waker. I also painted over the firetiger pattern. It's not a great bait, but I guess it's the first swimbait I ever had or threw. I have caught a few fish on it but it's nothing special. Anyway, I thought it would be a cool idea to see if anyone else has baits they throw but may be a bit ashamed to.

I love seeing people getting cradled. As for juijitsu as mentioned before I like to get people in rear naked chokes, but I really like it see people who are proficient at triangles.

I almost always use #4 (the V-cut pin method) for all my swimmers. I use it for pretty much all styles of baits from multi-jointed swimmers to single-jointed wake/cranks. It is fairly easy to cut and is pretty strong if you cut the slots deep enough.

Fished it on 5 outings last week. Wasnt till the last night of fishing that I finally got to connect on it! Man was it a vicious attack on this baby wake!! Full moon top water EXPLOSION along a rip rap wall! Thrashing, pumping, and.... WHISKERS!!!!

I think the Mullet and Stache are a combo deal! JK, but that’s awesome you found it, relatively easy. That sound of the line snapping always cause a cringe

Got out for an afternoon session but the fishing was tough. Got a couple dinks and dropped a better fish at the boat. That’s my time with the bomber. Don’t see myself getting out this week so off to Vagas I believe. Some pics.

First off if any of y’all are debating on getting a tiny klash stop and buy one right now, that bait is responsible for my fish than any Swimbait I own. Bombed my tiny klash over an old railroad and about 4 jerks later this spotted bass tried to rip my arm off, fought her to the boat and my buddy netted my PB spot weighing 4.32 capping off a 19.28 day on the Coosa. It was a day I’ll never forget.
